How to use it

  3. Add allowances. Include site, living, meals, tool, travel, R&R flight, bonus, and other assumptions that apply.
  4. Review the package. The app estimates annual earnings, allowances, super, and total remuneration.
  5. Reset any time. Clearing the session removes the current estimate from the app.

Does the app collect any of my data?
No. FIFO Calculator does not collect personal information, does not use analytics, and does not track you across apps or websites. See the privacy policy for details.
Do I need an account?
No account or sign-in is required. The app works fully offline.
Where are my estimates stored?
Your active estimate lives in the app's memory while you use it. Local preferences are stored on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
Will my data sync between devices?
Not at this time. The app is intentionally local-only. If sync is added in a future release, it will be opt-in and clearly disclosed.
How do I reset everything?
Use the reset action inside the app to clear all entries from the current session. Deleting the app from your device also removes any locally stored preferences.
Can I use the app outside Australia?
Yes. Values are treated as plain numbers, so you can use the calculator with any currency or roster model. You should still confirm local pay, superannuation or pension, tax, and allowance rules for your location.
Is this employment, tax, or financial advice?
No. The app estimates Fly In Fly Out remuneration based on the numbers you enter. It does not provide employment, tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice. Please verify results with your employer, accountant, financial adviser, or another qualified professional before relying on them.
