Getting started

1. Open FIFO Calculator on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Choose whether you want to estimate hourly, daily, or annual pay.
3. Enter your rate, roster pattern, and expected days worked or days off.
4. Add any relevant allowances, such as site, living, meals, tool, travel, R&R flight, and bonus assumptions.
5. Review the estimated annual earnings, allowances, super, and total package breakdown.

Frequently asked questions

Does the app collect any of my data?

No. The app does not collect personal information, does not use analytics, and does not track you. See the privacy policy.

Do I need an account?

No. The app works fully offline and does not require sign-in.

Where are my estimates stored?

Estimates stay on your device. Local preferences are stored using Apple's standard UserDefaults. Nothing is uploaded.

How do I reset everything?

Use the reset action inside the app to clear the current session. Deleting the app removes any locally stored preferences.

Will the app sync between my devices?

Not at this time. The app is intentionally local-only.

Is this employment, tax, or financial advice?

No. The app is an estimating tool for Fly In Fly Out remuneration. Verify any result with your employer, accountant, financial adviser, or another qualified professional before relying on it.
